Eufy Web Portal

Aug 17, 2022 · my take, as a 2 year eufy owner, is they don't invest in adequate infrastructure to support things like the web portal or the eufy community. They either have undersized connections or hardware that can't take the traffic, or both. The end result is dropped connections and really slow streaming. I just have a use case/preference that doesn't work with their business model so, i've switched back to poe ip cameras and using blue iris nvr software to.

So you can do that if you just installed eufy and turn this advanced protection off, then you can view the recordings on the eufy portal, but they won't be so secure. In order to view your cameras from the web portal you now have to go to the app and first, enable a specific time frame that the web portal is allowed to be used (choices are 1hr, 8hr, 12hr, 24hr) and then you receive a 2fa code which you have to put in on the web portal (you get 5 mins to put in the code).
