Should I Be Friends With Someone Who Rejected Me

I don’t want to be friends with someone who i’m interested in romantically and who ended it with me. But i disagree with a lot of the points saying they wouldn’t be friends with someone who went on a couple dates with them just because they “did something mean”. It always moves to something less close because one of us pulls. One common question that arises in this situation is whether or not it is appropriate to continue being friends with someone who rejected you. Turned out fine for me, i'm still friends with a few women who rejected me.
