Almost as though youtube wants me to think that my comments are being posted as normal, but they are actually being hidden from public view. They're not even offensive or anything like. Check channel permissions to make sure there aren’t any unwanted users associated with your account. Check if the hacker changed anything else on your channel, like the banner, links in. If you find yourself unable to send a super chat (when they're enabled), you've been hidden.
What is a private video on. Hiding someone from your youtube channel does not prevent them from commenting on your videos. However, it does hide their comments from everyone else except themselves.
